Green Teas
Green tea is a type of tea that is produced from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant; however, it is less oxidized than black tea, as it goes through a much different withering process. Green tea is typically lighter in color and flavor, ranging from yellow to green to light brown, with its flavor profile ranging from grassy and toasted to vegetal and sweet. Green tea originated in China, but its production has since spread to many other countries throughout Asia.
Green tea may help lower cholesterol and regulate blood sugar level. It is also good for digestion, preventing cavities and helps with aging.
